As far as Christmas shopping goes, this is probably the worst week of the year for me. I really need to keep off the Internet, stop watching telly and block my ears. The bargains are everywhere. It's sickening to watch things you've bought over the last couple of months be reduced by half and temptation is everywhere. ELC have today reduced this cute little fairy toadstool play set to £20 from £40. I think it would probably have been a bit old for M anyhow but a bargain nonetheless.

I blogged here about my search for a particular Ben10 Alien that seemed to be impossible to get hold of. EBay were selling them for up to £30 (the rrp is £10.95). When I finally caught Toysrus with it in stock last week I snapped it up and paid the £4.95 delivery charge without a second thought as I thought I was so lucky to get one. So today Toysrus have put a free delivery promotion on until midday tomorrow - never seen them offer free postage before. I knew I shouldn't look to see if the Grey Matter Metamorfigure was in stock. It wouldn't change anything but I couldn't resist. There he is, apparently very happily IN STOCK and available for free delivery - grrrrr. Can't win em all I guess and if I hadn't got one by now then my nerves would probably be in a much worse state but disappointing anyway.
