I am thinking it is time to move my baby girl into a bed. She will always be my baby but in practical terms she's a large child and I think she might be more comfortable with more room to move around. That's not to say I'm not anxious and wondering if I will really regret it once I give up the control that a cot brings, she is pretty happy going to bed in the evenings atm though and has pretty much given up her daytime nap. Whenever I mention moving into a bed she seems pretty keen. I have been encouraged to move forward by this Lola duvet coming up on Hot deals this morning for less than a tenner delivered from Littlewoods. It will match her pjs and hopefully be an added incentive for being a big girl. Now.....toddler bed or single bed....hmmmm.
I put both of mine into beds quite early. My little little one, very early. But my big little one went straight into a single bed, with a guard for a while. It's great as it means you can get in with her if she needs a cuddle in the middle of the night (well I send Hubby!) or isn't very well. Also normal single sheets so cheaper versions available. Little little one in a toddler bed as we were given one. It works well as they are in a room together and it's quite small. They often end up in one bed though!

Only pro for a toddler bed really is that the room M is in atm is teeny tiny. Once we put a single bed in there then there really won't be room for anything else. Is a box room for really tiny boxes lol. I think in the long run a single bed will be more practical tho.
