Wow - This is my first experience of silicon bakeware and I am so far very impressed. I spent last week making mince pies in a normal non stick tin but they were such a nightmare to get out that I ended up with a quarter of them falling apart as they came out. I have always fancied making mini mince pies and had heard a lot of good thing about silicon so thought I'd give this a try.

It's very shiny and very floppy. I actually put it on a baking tray to make it easy to get it in and out of the oven. When I was assembling the pies I thought there was no way they were going to come out as the holes look quite deep. The pies were cooked perfectly and evenly and popped out with no effort at all. I have made quite a few batches now and am looking forward to making various canapes over xmas. I think I will be using this loads and will be buying some muffin tins from the same range.
